Back in March this year, Marvel Studios dropped a huge bomb. Revealing actors who are set to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, the MCU almost looked like Battleworld. However, with the New Avengers, Fantastic Four, and even X-Men appearing in the highly anticipated outing, many have been left behind.
Till now, we have got Anthony Mackie’s new Captain America on board, who will let loose his wings around Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, Florence Pugh’s Yelena, and many others.
Meanwhile, even though we know Ant-Man will be showing up, we have no idea if the Wasp is in the game. Meanwhile, there are many other huge characters who have not been announced yet.
Characters That Won’t Appear in Avengers: Doomsday
Avengers: Endgame gave us a solid battle bringing in all the superhero and their sidekicks on one ground against the big bad Thanos. It was surely a war to remember. And while we are hoping to see something similar or better in Avengers: Doomsday, we won’t be seeing many characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
These characters include:

- Luke Cage

- Kang
- Red Hulk
- Wasp
- Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man
- Starfox
- Iron Fist
- Kingpin
However, fans around have been speculating about another cast announcement that will bring in one more huge list of superheroes. Talking about the unannounced characters, the Eternals surely top the list as they were being missed since the time they were introduced.
Back when Kang the Conqueror was set to be the new big bad of the MCU, official artworks revealed the inclusion of the Eternals against the villain. However, with those plans scrapped, following the now disgraced actor Jonathan Major’s legal issues, no signs of Eternals in close sight.
Coming to Spider-Man of the Sacred Timeline, he was not announced for the next Avengers film as well. However, Spider-Man: Brand New Day may play a significant role in Avengers: Doomsday, as it will be the previous film being released before Doomsday. The outing’s cast includes Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, as well as The Punisher, being brilliantly played by Jon Bernthal, the two actors who are again absent from the list of Avengers: Doomsday.
Others are Moon Knight, Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, and even Scarlet Witch, who, the characters in the Marvel movies these days seem to have totally forgotten about. Will we see them in the next Avengers outing? Only the next cast announcement will tell. However, we strongly believe they will be fighting against Dr. Doom in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Doomsday Must Bring Back the OG Avengers For One Final Stand

Dr. Doom is one of the meanest villains in the history of Marvel comics. With his grand schemes, he has manipulated multiple superheroes, even taking over the mantle of Iron Man in the comics. And looking at the newly introduced team of super soldiers, assassins, and the young Avengers, Dr. Doom becomes totally undefeatable.
From the classic six, who we all welcomed with open arms in The Avengers, only Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye are in sight. While we still mourn the deaths of Tony Stark and Natasha, aka Black Widow, with the power of the Multiverse, the MCU should bring in the original gods back to the battlefront.
