1.  Sigh of ecstacy: there hasn’t been an intense love story for a while now, not on this scale and not shot on such breathtaking locations. The trailer is a visual delight shot by DOP Anil Mehta with the same eye for exquisite emotions and matching vistas as Sanjay Bhansali’s Hum….Dil De Chuke Sanam.

2. Sigh of relief:  All the cynics and other non-romantics who wondered what Aishwarya Rai Bachchanand Ranbir Kapoor would look like as a pair , can heave a sigh of relief. They look terrific together. Not an iota of awkwardness between them. And if she plays an older woman to Ranbir then the camera has a tough time convincing us  that she’s actually older.She looks like a million bucks, with some pocket-change left over.

3. Sigh of approval: Ranbir Kapoor is back in full form. Seldom have we seen him so immersed in the rituals of passion. Real-life heartbreak does imbue an on-camera irradiance to the emotion of love. Remember Dilip Kumar in Mughal-e-Azam?

5. Sigh of  enchantment: The best things about  the teaser trailer is Arijit Singh’s voice. As the emotions play out on screen Arijit’s voice floats across the soundtrack like waters through fields thatheve thirsted for months. He belts out the title song with feelings too deep for tears. By the time Ranbir breaks into Arijit’s voice to tell us about ‘Ek tarfa pyar,’we are so deeply submerged in Ranbir’s character’s pain we don’t realize that the song is over.
