8 Minutes Cut From  Shivaay…

This Diwali’s purported blockbuster Shivaay has just undergone a surgical operation. The film’s  playing time of nearly 3 hours has been reduced by 8 minutes.

Says a source in the know  about the development, “It was unanimously felt by film’s team that one of the reasons for its slow performance at the boxoffice was the inordinate length . At 2 hours 53 minutes  Shivaay clocked  at almost an hour longer than the normal duration in today’s cinema.A day after the film’s release 8 minutes of the film was snipped off.”

Sources say a  few minutes of the film had also been edited a day before the film’s release.
