What is the Plot of 9-1-1: Nashville?

According to the official press release from ABC, 9-1-1: Nashville is billed as:
“a high-octane procedural about heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities.”
Considering that it is a part of the 9-1-1 franchise, it is expected that the stories will deal with emergencies that drive the first responders to their limits. The franchise has gained a reputation for showing some over-the-top emergencies, so that trend is expected to continue.
That said, executive producer Tim Minear opened up to TVLine about the show being set in Nashville, Tennessee. He said:
“One, I think that it’s a really interesting city with its own personality. […] Nashville felt even a little bit more Southern. It also has the country music industry, and it just felt like it could be a fun place to set a piece of the franchise.”
Minear admitted that the other reason behind this was Tennessee being production-friendly. He explained that some states would have been a great backdrop for a show like this, but they are not very cost-effective.
