“Kriti Kharbanda Has Already Shot With Bachchan Saab For Chehre”

Kriti Kharbanda  is  being replaced in Rumy  Jaffrey’s Chehre in  spite of  having shot for  the  film.

A  source close to the project reveals, “She  has already shot some scenes  with BachchanSaab.And  she has a couple of songs  in the  film. Re-shooting with another actress  would mean added dates , besides the  extra expenditure.”

 It  is  the dates that bother  the  Chehre team. “We are  trying to minimize  Bachchan Saab’s  schedule.  But this  obviously doesn’t bother  Kriti who had this  golden opportunity so  early in her career to share screen space with the Legend. Now she has  blown it.”

Sources say the hunt for  another  heroine is  on.

“It is not a pivotal  role. Bachchan  Saab and Emraan Hashmi have  the  main parts. But the girl’s role is also important.We  will now have to find  another  heroine at this  late stage  when the shooting is  nearly over,”says  the source.

 None  of  the  major  heroines  would be able to step in at this last minute.The Chehre makers may opt for a  new face.

Sources say it was  the success of Housefull  4 that  turned  Kriti’s head and she apparently began to  trouble the Chehre producers  through her team.

“But she forgets she had nothing to  do in Housefull 4 whereas  in Chehre her character  moves  the story forward,” says  the source.
