“Kartik Aryan Is Very Good,” Says Original  Aashiqui  Actor Rahul  Roy

Rahul Roy who shot to short-lived stardom with Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui , is  very happy to see  Kartik Aryan taking over the Franchise.

“Kartik Aryan is  a very good actor and the Aashiqui  franchise is a  wonderful vehicle for any actor to  move  forward,” says Rahul Roy.

Rahul played  the lead in the  first Aashiqui  film in 1999 which  contained a blockbuster  music score by Nadeem Shravan. The second film in the Aashiqui franchise  came in 2013  and was another musical blockbuster.

Kartik hopes to  achieve a hat trick of Aashiqui musical  blockbusters with Aashiqui 3  to be directed by Anurag Basu . Pritam  has been  roped  in to do the music.  Apparently Pritam has been  told  to  come up with the  kind of songs that  would have the durability  of  Aashiqui  1 and 2.

Apparently Kartik would so  be singing a couple of songs in Aashiqui 3.
