Ever since Eiichiro Oda introduced Loki’s character in the Elbaph arc of One Piece, he has hinted at him joining Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates on their adventure as one of their crewmates. These hints reached a point where Luffy himself asked Loki to become one of the Straw Hat Pirates and sail the One Piece seas with him.
This development is something that fans have been waiting for a long time, but aside from the hints and speculations, nothing has been officially confirmed by Oda as of yet. Not only that, the spoilers for One Piece chapter 1155 have changed this narrative completely and gave another hint about Loki becoming a member of the Blackbeard Pirates.
This has been speculated from Loki’s admiration of Rocks D. Xebec, Blackbeard’s father, and the mutual goal they share for becoming the King of the World. Blackbeard’s desire to conquer the entire world might motivate Loki to become a member of the Blackbeard Pirates.
Loki Has Eyes on Another One Piece Pirate Crew
Loki has all the traits of a pirate, and his special bounty assigned to him by the World Government proves that he could be one of the greatest pirates ever created by Oda. Thus, by getting him on his side, Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates might become insanely powerful, and their journey to find the One Piece treasure might be more comfortable and easier.
However, Loki is not the type of character who would like to work for another person. As a result, fans of One Piece are skeptical about whether or not Loki will ever become a member of someone else’s crew. He will have to be motivated enough to join a pirate crew on their adventure, and according to the spoilers of One Piece chapter 1155, Xebec’s dream might be the motivation.
According to the spoilers, when Xebec asked Harald to join his crew and help him conquer the whole world, Harald refused, but Loki was intrigued by it a lot. Thus, the fact that the same dream is shared by Blackbeard means that Eiichiro Oda is hinting that he might be able to convince Loki to become a part of the Blackbeard Pirates and wreak havoc in the One Piece world.
What Will Happen if Loki Joins the Blackbeard Pirates?
Although it is a difficult scenario, the recent developments introduced by Oda in the spoilers for One Piece chapter 1155 give hope to the speculation that Loki might refuse Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, only to become a member of the Blackbeard Pirates. This would not only be a shocking development for One Piece fans, but it would also affect the narrative in a big way.
Blackbeard is already a powerful character, and his crew is one of the strongest in the One Piece world. If Loki becomes the eleventh Titanic Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, there would be no other One Piece character who would be strong enough to stop Blackbeard and his crew from achieving their goal and more or less destroying the world.
