Peacock’s new TV and movie releases for July 28 – August 3, 2025, include a new episode of Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 1 and the Twisted Metal Season 2 premiere.
Thursday, July 31, 2025, brings both a new episode of Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Twisted Metal Season 2’s first episode.
Love Island: Beyond the Villa follows people who competed in Season 6 of the parent show, Love Island USA. In the dating reality series, the islanders explore new careers, friendships, fame, and challenges posed by life and love.
Meanwhile, Twisted Metal is an action-adventure comedy series based on Sony’s vehicular combat video game franchise of the same name. In Season 2, John Doe (Anthony Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) compete in the deadly tournament, hosted by Calypso. As the duo tries to survive it, they encounter old and new faces, such as the deranged Sweet Tooth. Things get complicated for John when he crosses paths with his long-lost sister, Dollface.
Also releasing on Peacock this week are the Destination X Season 1 finale and Unlocked Season 2.
Destination X is a reality series hosted by The Walking Dead alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The show follows a group of contestants who go on a mysterious road trip via a blacked-out bus. They are then challenged to correctly deduce their destinations and are offered location clues, while also being misled.
Meanwhile, Unlocked is a real estate-themed show depicting the amount of money people spend on houses, what they get in return for spending, and how much they have sacrificed to secure the property.
