On August 22, the group held a press conference at Conrad Seoul to mark the release of their fourth full-length album, KARMA. But hours before the event, their title track “CEREMONY” premiered with a high-energy music video that instantly sent fans and netizens into a frenzy.
Set against the backdrop of a fictional sports competition, the MV features the members as elite athletes from different disciplines, embodying their concept of “Music League Champions.” However, it was the final scene that truly made jaws drop.
Making a brief but unforgettable appearance was none other than Lee Sang Hyuk, better known as Faker — the legendary League of Legends pro gamer and global esports icon. His signature pose at the end of the video left fans in disbelief and admiration.

“Faker filmed our music video while we were on tour,” shared Felix during the press conference. “He did a great job, and although I couldn’t meet him in person, I’m grateful and honored. If we get another chance, I’d love to meet him and play games.”
The unexpected crossover between K-pop and esports instantly went viral. On Korean community platform theqoo, reactions ranged from pure shock to excitement:
- “This is crazy.”
- “Wait…Our Sang Hyuk??”
- “Felix has become a successful fan!”

With KARMA officially released today at 1 PM KST, Stray Kids is once again proving their power to break boundaries — both musically and culturally — one viral moment at a time.
