According to Sky Sports, negotiations between the two clubs are progressing smoothly. The deal is said to be part of the club’s long-term strategy rather than an immediate replacement for first-choice keeper Andre Onana.

The 23-year-old Belgian joined Royal Antwerp from Club Brugge two years ago. If the transfer goes through, Antwerp will secure a nearly 100% profit on their investment.
Last season, the 1.93m goalkeeper made 44 appearances in all competitions, kept 10 clean sheets, and played a key role in Antwerp finishing fifth in the Belgian Pro League.
This season, Lammens has started all four games for Antwerp, with the team recording one win and three draws, conceding just one goal per match. His contract with Antwerp runs until June 2027 after signing a four-year extension in 2023.
Known for his modern style of play, Lammens has impressed with his strong reflexes, ball-playing ability, and distribution. Statistics show he averages 24 passes per game in the Belgian league, including nearly seven accurate long balls per match.
If finalized, this signing would represent another significant move in Manchester United’s long-term rebuilding project, strengthening their squad depth in a crucial position.
