On September 9, Chinese media reported, citing local residents, that Koo Jun-yup is seen daily at the Rose Garden in Jinbaoshan, New Taipei City, where Barbie Hsu is laid to rest. Regardless of heavy rain or scorching sun, he continues to appear at her grave. One resident said, “The grass in front of the grave has faded from being stepped on so often. When it rains, he brings an umbrella, and when the sun is strong, he shields himself with a parasol.”

A recently revealed headstone shows a special inscription: “REMEMBER TOGETHER FOREVER” in English, alongside the Korean phrase “I will love you forever – Junjun.” These words were the exact couple tattoo the two had inked on their neck and collarbone after marrying in 2022—now permanently carved into her epitaph as a symbol of their love.
Photos taken by visitors showed the grave spotless, with fresh flowers and carefully prepared pictures placed there each day. Koo Jun-yup is said to bring coffee and bread that Hsu enjoyed during her lifetime, and even cooks noodles himself to leave at her resting place.

Hsu’s manager confirmed, “Koo Jun-yup does not plan to leave Taiwan anytime soon. He wants to stay as close to her as possible.”
The couple’s love story was both heartbreaking and romantic. They had been passionately in love two decades ago but broke up due to circumstances. In 2022, they reunited and legally married, living together in Taiwan. Sadly, in early 2025, Barbie Hsu’s health deteriorated suddenly during a trip, and she passed away, leaving Koo Jun-yup devastated but deeply devoted.
