The long-standing romance between Luhan and Guan Xiaotong has once again become the center of heated speculation, this time involving Guan Xiaotong’s father.
Recently, netizens noticed that Xiaotong’s father had liked a post claiming his daughter and Luhan had broken up. Although he quickly removed the like, the move sparked widespread discussions online.
The post alleged that the couple parted ways during this year’s Chinese Valentine’s Day (Qixi Festival), when Luhan was performing in Jiangxi while Guan Xiaotong was filming a variety show in Zhejiang. Many interpreted the father’s action as a silent confirmation of the breakup.
Adding fuel to the rumors, popular blogger Liu Daichui claimed the two had actually split back in December 2024, citing “different future plans and directions” as the reason for the breakup. According to his account, the separation coincided with Luhan’s concert in Beijing and Guan Xiaotong wrapping up her new drama shoot.
Fans also pointed out several other hints:
- Guan Xiaotong admitted to listening to “Let The Rain Fall” — a song about heartbreak and letting go — over 100 times.
- The couple has not been seen together publicly since October 2024.
- They ignored each other’s birthdays and Valentine’s Day.
- Guan Xiaotong even deleted all of Luhan’s photos from her Weibo account.
Despite mounting evidence, neither side has issued an official statement about their relationship status.
Luhan and Guan Xiaotong’s romance began in 2017 on the drama Sweet Combat, when Luhan surprised the industry by openly declaring on Weibo: “Introducing my girlfriend, Guan Xiaotong.” His bold confession at the peak of his career shocked fans but later earned respect for its sincerity.
Over eight years together, they became one of the few openly acknowledged couples in Chinese entertainment. But now, after months of silence and subtle hints, fans fear the fairy-tale love story may have quietly come to an end.
