It’s been a couple of months since XO, Kitty wrapped up filming on the third season, and the news has been dry as the series undergoes post-production but we’re here to bring you some early episode titles that could tease what’s to come!

To date, what will be happening in season 3 has largely been under wraps beyond fan speculation. Jessica O’Toole, showrunner for the series, has said, “I know we left fans on a cliffhanger at the end of Season 2, but I can promise season 3 will be worth the wait, including our first summer episode — not to mention plenty of romance, friendship, adventure…and kissing. Lots of kissing.”

Deadline also hinted at when they first revealed the renewal, that season 2 would focus “on her [Kitty’s] third semester at KISS — after a short detour.”

We’ve got four of the eight episodes that are expected to make up the third season of the show, and they tease what’s on the horizon.  Important note, though. These episode titles cover the early part of the season (1 through 6, but excluding 4). We do not currently have episode titles for episodes 7 and 8. They are also in alphabetical order and not release order.

  • Before Sunrise – A seemingly deliberate nod to the Richard Linklater romance, which is all about two people spending one night together, walking, talking, and maybe falling in love. For Kitty, this could signal a turning point with Min Ho: a long, unbroken night of conversation before they finally admit their feelings. Or, since Yuri’s still lurking in Kitty’s heart, maybe it’s her and Yuri stealing one last night together before reality pulls them apart.
  • Euniq – This one could be Eunice-coded. After she won the competition in Season 2, she could be stepping into full-fledged stardom, maybe opening a world tour or testing whether her friendship circle can survive her rising fame. The spelling twist (“q” instead of “ue”) also hints at Q’s involvement. Could Eunice and Q team up musically? Or will her career arc throw her into conflict with Dae, who’s still licking his wounds from losing to her? Either way, it’s setting up a spotlight episode that turns Eunice from a side character into a real player. The Q connection might be a stretch, but it’s an intriguing possibility.
  • Ride or Die – This one could work on two levels. There was evidence from earlier this year of casting for a “ticket checker” at an amusement park, so the title may have a literal interpretation tied to roller coasters, Ferris wheels, and carnival chaos. Metaphorically, it could signal an episode about loyalty, testing which relationships will hold steady when Kitty’s life inevitably spins out of control — whether that’s Min Ho proving once again he’s there for her, Yuri stepping up despite her own turmoil, or Kitty herself being forced to choose if she’ll be someone else’s “ride or die” even at personal cost.

  • Seoul Sisters – This one could certainly be cameo-coded. We’ve already had Margot (Janel Parrish) return and Peter (Noah Centineo), so is it time for Lara Jean (Lana Condor) to finally appear? She could visit for a vacation, a family reunion, or another reason entirely. Lana was recently filming in Thailand, and fans may wonder if she could have stopped over in South Korea or vice versa. Perhaps it’s wishful thinking, but the title feels like a perfect setup for a major sisterly cameo. Of course, this could be something else entirely such as metaphor for her new friends such as Yuri.
  • Ships in the Night – The phrase usually means two people brushing past each other, missing their chance, or never quite lining up, but it could also hint at a location such as Busan, a city famous for its harbor and beaches. That setting would fit Kitty and Min Ho’s slow burn perfectly. Maybe they get close, but circumstances drag them apart again — Min Ho with family obligations, Kitty still torn about Yuri. It could also apply to Yuri and Juliana, who are still tied together emotionally but moving on in separate directions. Either way, it’s bittersweet: connections that could have been but aren’t, at least not yet.

Season 3 of XO, Kitty brings back returning writers Valentina Garza, Siobhan Vivian, Jessica O’Toole, Sarah Choi, Nina Kim, and George Northy, while introducing new writer Deirdre Shaw and giving Garza a larger role across multiple episodes.

Still no word on an official release date yet, although we’re not holding our breath for a 2025 return. Instead, we’re expecting sometime in Q1-Q2 2026, with March being a likely spot, we’re told.
