Celebrity couple Lee Jong Suk and IU made headlines as they each hosted fan meetings in Seoul over the same weekend, delighting fans with music, laughter, and emotional moments.
On September 14, Lee Jong Suk kicked off his 2025 Asia Fan Meeting Tour “With: Just Like This” at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Seoul. Coinciding with his birthday, the event served as both a celebration and the beginning of his seven-city tour. The actor charmed fans with a variety of stages, including covers of Jo Jung Suk’s “Aloha”, aespa’s “Whiplash”, and TWS’s “plot twist.”
Beyond performances, Lee shared candid stories about his daily life and hobbies, even responding to fans’ letters during a special Q&A segment. When one fan asked if they could make him their “hobby,” he smiled and replied: “I’ll work hard so that you can keep me as your hobby.” His heartfelt words and sincere appreciation created a warm and memorable atmosphere.
Meanwhile, on September 13–14, IU reunited with fans at the KSPO Dome with her fan meet-up “Bye, Summer.” This marked her first offline fan event in two years, selling out all seats during pre-sale. The theme reflected IU’s recently released track of the same name, described as “a gentle farewell to summer.”
Comedian Moon Sang Hoon, a self-proclaimed UAENA, served as the MC and added humor with his playful chemistry with IU. Their joint stage of “Marshmallow” brought unexpected fun, while fans were also treated to a “reverse-gift unboxing,” where IU explained the use of fan-gift items like cooling cushions, portable fans, and acrylic stands.
For the encore, IU surprised fans by appearing in the audience before performing “I stan U.” Each night closed with different songs — “Dreams in summer night” on the first day and “Autumn Morning” on the second — leaving fans with a lasting emotional impression.
