Ki Hyun Woo is joining Kim Yo Han & Han Ji Hyun in the new film 'Made in Itaewon'

Ki Hyun Woo is set to debut on the big screen with the upcoming film Made in Itaewon.

On September 16, it was officially confirmed that Ki Hyun Woo will join hands with Kim Yo Han, Han Ji Hyun, and Yoo Sun Ho in the upcoming youth film Made in Itaewon

Made in Itaewon is a coming-of-age story set in the Itaewon neighborhood during the 1998 IMF crisis. The film will showcase the journey of a group of ambitious young people who, despite facing a society that lacked respect for diversity, choose to live on their own terms and find success through any means.

This will be the next work of director Yoo Jae Young. According to reports, production on the movie began early this month. 

Kim Yo Han will bring the character Park Ji Soo to life. He was once a promising boxer who gave up on his dream and now lives without purpose.

Han Ji Hyun will portray the role of Kim Ji Won, a young woman who is free but hurtful. 

Meanwhile, Ki Hun Woo will play the character named Hyun Sik. He is the rival of Park Ji Soo in boxing. He was also a promising boxer who had to take on a dark path just to pay for his grandmother’s hospital bills. 

Made in Itaewon will premiere in Korean theaters in 2026. 

This will be Ki Hyun Woo’s first official movie project since his debut. This will also be his follow-up work after the 2024 K-drama Love Andante, with Kwon Hyun Bin, Song Ji Woo, Heo Ji Won, Hong Joon Ki, and Kim Bo Ra.

This year, he made a cameo appearance in the series Ball Boy Tactics, led by Choi Jae Hyeok, Yeom Min Hyeok, Choi Rak Yeong, and Kwak Geon Hee

KI Hyun Woo started his acting career in 2021. He is best known for being part of the K-dramas The Chairman Is Level 9, Jun & Jun, Semantic Error, and more.
