Actress Lee Seol will reportedly join hands with Our Movie co-star Namkoong Min in the upcoming thriller romance K-drama The Completion of Marriage.
On September 18, media outlets reported that Lee Seol will be the female lead of the upcoming KBS K-drama The Completion of Marriage. Early this year, Namkoong Min got the offer to star in the series, and the actor is currently reviewing it.
Lee Seol’s agency, 935 Entertainment, responded to the casting reports. According to them, “Lee Seol did receive the offer to star in The Completion of Marriage, and it is one of the offers she’s reviewing.”
This will possibly be the reunion work of Lee Seol and Namkoong Min. The two worked together this year alongside Jeon Yeo Been in the K-drama Our Movie, which concluded in July.
Aside from The Completion of Marriage, Lee Seol will also star in the upcoming K-drama Pleasant Outcast with Sung Yoo Bin, Won Ji An, Jo Hyun Chul, Bae Gang Hee, Lee Suk Hyeong, and Eom Joon Ki.
This year, Lee Seol also starred in the film Nocturnal with Ha Jung Woo, Kim Nam Gil, Yoo Da In, Jeong Man Sik, Im Sung Jae, and Park Jong Hwan.
The Completion of Marriage will reveal the story of a man who struggles to face a criminal to save his wife. His wife was kidnapped before the process of their divorce.
Namkoong Min got the offer to play the role of Kang Tae Joo. He was a former neurosurgeon but now works as the hospital director. Meanwhile, Lee Seol was offered to portray the role of the kidnapped wife.
According to reports, The Completion of Marriage will begin filming in November. The K-drama will air in the first half of 2026. It will exclusively air on KBS.
