New Chinese historical drama Fated Hearts is premiering on October 2.
Set against the backdrop of the war between the Jin Xiu Kingdom and the Su Sha Kingdom, the drama tells the story of the female archer Fu Yi Xiao (Li Qin), who injures Prince Feng Sui Ge (Chen Zhe Yuan) of the enemy kingdom, and how the two join forces to uncover the conspiracies between the two kingdoms.
Through elements of power struggles and personal growth, the series depicts the protagonists’ journey to break free from the shackles of fate.
During the Battle of Pingling, as the Jin Xiu Kingdom’s army is on the verge of defeat, the red-clad female archer Fu Yi Xiao (Li Qin) shoots an arrow that strikes Feng Sui Ge, the prince of the Su Sha Kingdom, turning the tide of the battle. However, shortly after the battle, Fu Yi Xiao accidentally falls off a cliff and loses all her memories. Feng Sui Ge (Chen Zhe Yuan), meanwhile, was being relentlessly pursued. By a twist of fate, the two reunite at Zhengnian Villa.
Seeing the amnesiac Fu Yi Xiao, Feng Sui Ge feels that something about the situation is deeply suspicious. He therefore decides to keep her close, intending to draw out the mastermind manipulating everything behind the scenes. From there, the two set out on a journey to uncover the conspiracies between the two kingdoms. Along the way, they join forces to eliminate scoundrels, face powerful officials, and seek the truth.
Joining Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan are Xia Meng, Chen He Yi, Zuo Ye, and Xu Xiao Sa.
