How to Unlock Desert Biome in Plants vs Brainrots?

A Story Mode was recently introduced in Plants Vs Brainrots, offering players a chance to face off against waves of Brainrots and bosses using their plants. Clearing waves of Brainrot Invasions during the Story Mode is the key to unlocking new biomes, which in turn, will allow you to net high-tier Secret Brainrots. So let’s dive into how you can get access to the Desert Biome in Plants Vs Brainrots.

Unlocking the Desert Biome in Plants Vs Brainrots

The requirement for unlocking the Desert Biome in Plants Vs Brainrots is to battle 25 waves in the Brainrot Invasion, which is incredibly tedious as battles pop up every 30 minutes, making the unlock process time-consuming. When you see the “Incoming” warning on the right side of your screen, a new Brainrot Invasion will be on the way.

When the warning timer reaches 00:00, you can click on the blue “Battle” button to begin a Brainrot Invasion. Click the “I’m Not Ready..” option if you require more time to prepare. Defeating a Brainrot boss counts as the completion of one storyline, and each boss leads 5 invasions. So, here are the Story Mode bosses you need to beat to unlock the Desert Biome:

BRAINROT BOSS STORY MODE INVASIONS
Noobini King Invasion 1-5
Los Tralaleritos Invasion 6-10
Los Tralaleritos Invasion 11-15
Orangutini Ananassini Invasion 16-20
Orcalero Orcala Invasion 21-25

While it’s time-consuming, the tedious grind will be worth it in the end. It’s best to have gear like Carrot Launcher and Frost Blower at the ready during the waiting period. You can also set a 30-minute timer on your device to jump into battle the moment it’s available. The more waves you beat, the more storylines you unlock, which in turn leads to new biomes.

The waves will get harder as you progress, and if you’re lucky enough, you’ll clear the waves in one go. Once you’re done with Story Brainrot Invasion 25, the Desert Biome will unlock in Plants Vs Brainrots. A Biome Totem will appear on the island near the bridge, allowing you to seamlessly switch between the biomes that you want. Cycle to the Desert Biome to give your island a dry and sandy look.

There’s no bypassing the waves, but unlocking the Desert Biome is a no-brainer, as the area harbours 5 Secret Rarity Brainrots. It’s also worth noting that the Brainrots spawning in the Desert Biome will be harder as they’re all Tier 2 as opposed to the Grasslands Biome’s Tier 1 offerings.

After completing Story Mode Brainrot Invasion 25, you’ll get access to the Desert Biome, and here are all the Secret Rarity Brainrots present in the biome in Plants Vs Brainrots:

  • El Tacorito II
  • Pepito Di Pollo II
  • Meowtronzio II
  • Bangello II
  • Rexosaurus Hatcherini II

As mentioned above, the Brainrots that spawn in the Desert Biome are Tier 2, which is why these Secret Brainrots have the II beside their names. They also have more health than the Tier 1 ones, which is why you should focus on growing Godly plants and set them near the wheelbarrow for the best results.

The Tier 2 Brainrots also have increased earnings per second, so don’t shy away from investing in higher rarity plants to add them to your Brainrot collection.
