Solo Leveling has been leaving fans starving for any updates on season 3 of its anime. Amid scarce glimmers of hope, its franchise is still alive and well. Beyond November 17, 2025’s release of Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive on PC, though, more original manhwa content is coming to readers. Solo Leveling’s sequel, Ragnarok, is releasing season 2 in a week.
Solo Leveling: Ragnarok has been running its manhwa adaptation of Daul’s hit follow-up since August 1, 2024. While the Korean version is over a dozen chapters ahead, fans wishing to support the franchise have had to wait since its season 1 finale. Confirmed by Tapas’ Solo Leveling: Ragnarok portal, the manhwa’s newly-localized season 2 launches on November 11, 2025.
Solo Leveling’s New Season Launches November 11, 2025
While this is certainly not the ultimate news Solo Leveling fans may be seeking, Ragnarok has been enjoying acclaim from readers as a worthy continuation of Chugong’s legacy. While the original series’ author has teased his own spins on a sequel, the manhwa embodies the style and spirit of his original work. It’s effectively the only sequel around, for now.
Season 2 will resume on November 11 with episode #48, bringing fans right back into the action. Suho, fresh off his job-change as the Irregular White Shadow, now has an ability that serves as a unique spin on Jinwoo’s Shadow Extraction, known as Shadow Creation to equip not only himself, but allies with assets of his fallen enemies.
With Lee Minsung dead and his stardust drug operation exposed in numerous incidents, both involving Suho, the Hunters Association has grown suspicious of Suho. Despite Jinchul being on his side, and Jinho breathlessly defending Jinwoo’s son, this will inevitably compromise Suho as a Hunter. With Suho only alive because of the job change quest, there’s still plenty tension ahead.
The Apostle of the Itarim has gained another fragment of their power, and with that, Suho and the Apostle will continue their game of cat and mouse as they both get stronger.
As Suho returns to stop another Dungeon Break and save the lives of the Hunters present, the chapter also ended with a rare glimpse of Cha Hae-in. The Apostle of the Itarim has gained another fragment of their power, and with that, Suho and the Apostle will continue their game of cat and mouse as they both get stronger.
Solo Leveling’s November Return Is Missing One Key Announcement
With Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive’s PC release on November 17 following Ragnarok season 2’s debut on November 11, the only thing truly missing is news of the anime. With A-1 Pictures Animation Producer Atsushi Kaneko’s recent cryptic tweet yesterday about “what the world is waiting for” the hope on everybody’s mind is for season 3.
“I know what the world is waiting for, but I want it to wait a little longer.”
-Atsushi Kaneko
With Jinwoo achieving level 100 at the end of season 2, there’s still plenty of excitement around the corner. It’s not even merely that Jinwoo will fight stronger opponents and find himself continuing to grow more powerful; he’ll face the greatest eschatological threats the series has to offer. On all fronts, there’s always more Solo Leveling on the way.
