Enchanted Hollow is an incredibly dense event for Pokémon GO, with new raid bosses, debut Pokémon, and plenty of valuable rewards for players to earn over a limited period. This event highlights some rare Pokémon within the game, through event challenges and Field Research you can complete over time. By doing the right tasks, you’ll have the opportunity to increase your collection of Pokémon with brand-new creatures.
Some Pokémon during the Enchanted Hollow event have higher Shiny odds in Pokémon GO, outside of just raid battles. Both Paras and Stantler have higher Shiny spawn rates during the event, giving you a way to find these rare variants more often. The highlight of these Pokémon comes alongside other bonuses, such as double XP for spinning Poké Stops, longer Lure Module duration, and increased Mossy Lure encounters.
Enchanted Hollow Event Schedule
Plan Ahead For When You Can Participate
Like many events in Pokémon GO, Enchanted Hollow lasts for a limited time, only taking place between November 4, 2025, and November 9, 2025. This five-day period starts at 10:00 AM on November 4, then ends once it hits 8:00 PM local time on November 9. While not the longest event the game has ever had, there is still plenty of time to engage with everything Enchanted Hollow offers.
When participating in the event, you have the chance to spend a small amount of money on limited Timed Research. For $1.99, you can gain access to several new missions during the event, ranging from just catching Pokémon to using Incense while you explore. Doing this while the event lasts will help you earn special rewards, such as:
- Drampa Pokémon Encounter
- Great Balls
- Poke Balls
- Stantler Pokémon Encounter
- Incense items
- Mossy Lure Module
- Lucky Eggs
Doing Timed Research will also help you easily encounter some of the rare Pokémon debuting during this event, which have never appeared in the game up until this point. With the leveling changes in Pokémon GO, this paid Timed Research could be helpful to boost your Trainer’s experience further too.
All New Pokémon Debuts & Wilds Spawns During Enchanted Hollow
New Bug-Types Appear Alongside Old Favorites
The Pokémon Tarountula and its evolution Spidops make their debut during Enchanted Hollow, giving players two new Bug-types to collect. Originally from the Paldea region of Pokémon‘s Scarlet & Violet games, this evolutionary line can be surprisingly powerful, with Spidops being a strong combatant against some rival creatures weak to its Bug-type.
Once you capture a Tarountula, you can evolve it into Spidops by giving it 50 pieces of Tarountula Candy, much like other Pokémon within the game.
With Tarountula and Spidops, several Pokémon appear more often in the wild. Certain Pokémon appear even more when you use a Mossy Lure to attract them, almost summoning rarer creatures in Pokémon GO than you would normally find. The following Pokémon spawn the most in the wild during the Enchanted Hollow event:
- Paras (Bug/Grass-type)
- Stantler (Normal-type)
- Nickit (Dark-type)
- Cottonee (Grass/Fairy-type) — Mossy Lure
- Petilil (Grass-type) — Mossy Lure
- Karrablast (Bug-type) — Mossy Lure
- Shelmet (Bug-type) — Mossy Lure
Any of these Pokémon have a chance to be Shiny when you find them using a Mossy Lure, with Stantler and Paras also appearing Shiny without one sometimes due to event bonuses. Tarountula also appears in the wild with these Pokémon, creating a theme around rarer Bug-types showing up for you to catch.

Challenge Powerful Foes For Stronger Encounters
There are six different raid battles going on during Enchanted Hollow, featuring stronger Pokémon for you to face and capture for yourself. Three 1-Star battles and three 3-Star raids are available, with the latter using Pokémon who fit the theme, but aren’t seen normally through higher spawn rates from the events.
The table below showcases all the raid battles in Pokémon GO, including what their type weaknesses are and some counters that could help you achieve victory against each boss Pokémon:

Paras, Stantler, and Drampa can appear Shiny after their Raid boss encounters, giving you a reason to fight them multiple times with strong counters. Many other rewards, including ways to catch the other Raid bosses, are offered through these Raids, giving you plenty of great items if you can defeat these Pokémon quickly while the Enchanted Hollow event lasts.
Every Enchanted Hollow Challenge & Reward
Complete Pokémon Collections And Various Missions For Different Items
There are multiple challenges and missions within the Enchanted Hollow event, including normal Field Research that players can pursue for free as they play. Similar to the paid Timed Research, doing Field Research tasks will reward you with several rare Pokémon encounters, including many of the creatures showcased in Mossy Lure wild spawns from the event.
One of the best Field Research rewards is a free encounter with a Drampa after winning two other Raids. Any Pokémon you encounter from a Research goal has a chance of being Shiny.
You can also complete Collection Challenges by capturing specific Pokémon featured in the event for some extra XP and a Tarountula encounter. For the “Whimsical Woods” Challenge, you’ll need to catch a Cottonee, Karrablast, Morelull, and Stantler, which grants you 3,000 XP and the Tarountula upon its completion. Likewise, the “Fantastical Forest” Collection offers the same rewards, but only when you have Petilil, Shelmut, Paras, and Skwovet caught first.
Any player has until the event ends to finish Collection Challenges or Field Research, but each will disappear if the limited time passes. As such, you’ll want to do everything you can during the Enchanted Hollow event in Pokémon GO to get every reward possible, including several encounters with the game’s debuting Pokémon.
