Casino heiress Laurinda Ho and her actor husband Dou Xiao have been spotted enjoying a sweet moment together in Australia, seemingly disproving recent divorce rumors.
Photos shared on social media on November 9 show Laurinda preparing to enter a swimming pool while Dou Xiao watches her from the poolside, smiling and chatting. Their cheerful interaction contrasts sharply with growing speculation that they had not seen each other for months and were emotionally distant. The affectionate scene hints that the couple may still be going strong despite online whispers.
Their romance began at a dinner party, and they went public in April 2019 after a video of them kissing in an elevator leaked online. Throughout their relationship, the couple shared many sweet moments traveling together, visiting each other on set, and posting couple photos. Dou Xiao once paused his work schedule to travel to Hong Kong and stay with Laurinda while mourning the passing of her father. Laurinda, in turn, dyed her hair long and black to match Dou Xiao’s traditional aesthetic.

The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Bali in April 2023. Dou Xiao reportedly planned every detail from the wedding venue to imported flowers.
Initially, their post-marriage life appeared harmonious. They frequently attended public events, shared vacation snaps, and seemed blissfully in love. But by mid-2023, netizens noticed a lack of interaction between the two online. Laurinda was rumored to have quietly deleted or hidden posts featuring her husband. Meanwhile, Dou Xiao rarely mentioned his wife in recent updates, fueling rumors of marital discord.
Hong Kong media further speculated that Laurinda’s family was dissatisfied with Dou Xiao’s career and income, which may have placed financial strain on the marriage. Some bloggers claimed their busy schedules kept them apart for long periods, leading to emotional distance. Recently, both parties have publicly denied any breakup.

Dou Xiao, born in 1988 in Xi’an, Shaanxi, moved to Canada with his family at age 10. After winning a local modeling competition thanks to his striking looks, he returned to China and enrolled at the Beijing Film Academy. He rose to fame after being cast in Zhang Yimou’s Under the Hawthorn Tree and has starred in numerous films and dramas, including Dangerous Liaisons, Time to Love, Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy, and Princess Agents.
Laurinda Ho, born in 1991, is the daughter of late casino tycoon Stanley Ho and his third wife, Ina Chan. A high-achieving student in the UK, Laurinda later ventured into her own business career. She boasts over 600,000 Instagram followers and 1.7 million fans on Weibo.
Their recent public appearance in Australia suggests that, at least for now, love may still be in the air for this high-profile couple.
