Adored Peacemaker Villain Actor Talks DCU Return

Peacemaker star Robert Patrick has hinted at a possible return to the DCU. In a recent interview, the actor, who plays the villain Auggie Smith in the series, teased that anything could happen. Though there has been no official confirmation about the new season or Patrick’s return, his comments have sparked excitement among fans.

Robert Patrick on if he could return after Peacemaker Season 2

Robert Patrick has opened up about the possibility of returning to the Peacemaker universe.

In a recent interview with ScreenRant, the actor addressed the possibility of returning to the DC series after Season 2. When asked if he had discussed future projects with creator James Gunn, Patrick admitted that nothing has been planned yet. However, he did not rule out the possibility. The actor said, “No, we haven’t. Certainly, that doesn’t mean that there couldn’t be down the road, and who the hell knows?”

Patrick also revealed that he learned about his Season 2 return unexpectedly, after running into co-star Steve Agee, who shared the news. The Terminator 2 star recalled, “I ran into him [Agee], and he said, ‘You know you’re coming back for Season 2.’ And I said, ‘No, I had no idea. How’s that possible?’” The actor praised the direction Season 2 has taken, calling it “a redemptive sort of thing.”

Patrick also talked about his return in Season 2. While his character, Auggie Smith, was killed off in the first season, the introduction of a multiverse storyline in Season 2 enabled him to play a new version of the character. Talking about his experience, he said it “felt so good to be able to come back and play that good version of Auggie Smith, and be a part of that story of that new dimensional portal, that new reality that Chris Smith gets to experience.”

As of now, there are no confirmed plans for Peacemaker Season 3.
