From unforgettable icons to popular supporting characters, many of these characters quickly develop a reputation that precedes them, and at times, these can be deceptive of hidden or dormant behaviors that either remain obscured or only come to light later within the series.
For some of these characters, a pretty face and charming personality mask underlying traits or intentions that can change how they’re perceived. In a medium as expansive as anime, some only stand out as walking red flags after they’re further explored. Without hesitation she will exploit loyalty and desire for her own gain. Makima may seem powerful yet serene, but in reality, she is ruthless, calculating, and extremely dangerous.
