PLAVE Scores Another Million-Seller With Record-Breaking “PLBBUU” Album
Virtual boy group PLAVE has officially added another massive milestone to their career—another million-seller album.
The group made their highly anticipated comeback on November 10 with their second single album “PLBBUU” and the upbeat, feel-good title track “BBUU!”. Just one week later, the numbers are in—and they’ve shattered their own records.
According to Hanteo Chart, “PLBBUU” earned the highest first-week sales of PLAVE’s career so far. Between November 10 and 16, the album sold an impressive 1,095,634 copies, surpassing their previous record of 1,038,308 set earlier this year by their mini album “Caligo Pt.1.”
That earlier achievement was historic in itself: “Caligo Pt.1” made PLAVE the first virtual idol group in history to sell over 1 million copies in the first week.
With “PLBBUU,” the group has proven not only their staying power but also their rapidly growing fandom—setting a new benchmark for virtual K-pop acts.
✨ Congratulations to PLAVE on yet another record-breaking comeback!
