Bold and Beautiful’s Lisa Yamada Addresses Departure as Luna

Lisa Yamada, who plays Luna, recently addressed her official departure from The Bold and the Beautiful. Introduced in 2023 as an antagonist and the daughter of Poppy Nozawa and John Finnegan, Luna caused plenty of trouble in the lives of other characters, leading to her multiple arrests.

Lisa Yamada reflects on her exit from The Bold and the Beautiful as Luna

Yamada recently took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from the sets of The Bold and the Beautiful, followed by a brief departure note. She wrote in the caption, “so many tears shed, blood spilled, friendships formed, and memories made on @boldandbeautifulcbs. what a ride it’s been! hope you enjoyed the adventures <3 #LUNAtic4ever.”

Luna was previously sent to prison, but determined to win back Will, she plotted her escape. She hid in a laundry cart, tricked the security guard, and slipped out of the prison. Then, she went to the beach house to see Will and tried to convince him to confess his love for her.

She begged him to give their bond another chance and, shockingly, expressed regret for her past actions. When their conversation shifted to child custody, Luna delivered shocking news. She revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage due to mounting stress, leaving Will stunned. As the authorities approached, Will stepped outside, which led Luna to flee once again.

The authorities are further joined by Sheila, Li, Ivy, Taylor, and Deacon to contribute to Luna’s search. Meanwhile, Luna runs through the grass and the fog in the dark, as a helicopter hovers over the area to find her. At one point, she enjoys the chase, given that everyone struggles to catch her.

However, her search comes to a halt when she comes in front of an oncoming car. She gets hit by it and dies on the spot. Deputy Chief Baker further gathers the family to confirm that Luna is dead.
