Why Fans Think Detective Chase’s Life Is in Danger

In General Hospital, Detective Harrison Chase is working around the clock to prove Willow’s innocence in Drew’s shooting. Many believe that his determination could cost him his relationship, job, and maybe even his life. So, is there a possibility that the detective could meet his tragic fate in the coming days?

Here are the details on what’s happening with Chase’s storyline.

Could detective Chase die on General Hospital?

Many fans believe that Detective Harrison Chase could die in General Hospital as a result of his investigation into Drew Cain’s shooting.

It has been months, and the show still hasn’t revealed the mysterious shooter who fired at Drew. While Willow spent a good amount of time in prison and was already released on bail, the case hasn’t been definitively closed yet. Additionally, the storyline features other suspects, such as Michael Corinthos and Portia Robinson, since both have strong motives to kill Drew.

In recent episodes, Chase has been actively investigating the case, mainly to prove Willow’s innocence. During his investigation, he learns that Jacinda, Michael’s alibi, lied. In an intoxicated state, Ezra Boyle admits to Chase that Jacinda was with him on the night of Drew’s shooting. This gives Chase the motive to push harder on Michael and try to discover more incriminating evidence. Whether he succeeds in getting it has yet to be seen.

Nonetheless, his determination to nullify Michael’s alibi has raised concerns among Michael’s fans. The show has not revealed whether Michael is the mysterious shooter, but he also doesn’t have a real alibi for the night of the crime. So, if he turns out to be the culprit and learns that Chase is getting close to him, there is a possibility that he could kill him.

Back in 2009, Michael, played by Drew Garrett at the time, killed Claudia Zacchara in a fit of rage. So, it’s not unlikely that it won’t happen again. If one thing we know about soap operas is that history repeats itself. So, if Michael starts to think that Chase is a danger, he could try to get rid of the detective, too.

To know whether it turns out like that or not, keep tuning in to General Hospital on ABC.
