Kangana Ranaut’s Language To Be Cleaned Out!
Simran Recommended For “UA” Certificate With Several Cuts…Will Hansal Mehta Appeal To The Tribunal?
Trouble ahead for Kangana Ranaut’s ambitious vehicle Simran which has been in the news for her ‘true-confessions’ styled marketing.
Now the film has gone to the CBFC and has been pulled up for several cusswords , abuses and profanities.
A member of the Simran creative team says it’s the nature of the beast. “Kangana’s character speaks from the heart and she speaks first, thinks later. There is no filter in her thought-flow.Now when the CBFC saw the film they did not appreciate the profusion of gaalis and colorful language.”
Apparently the censor board has ordered Kangana’s language to be cleaned out.
Hansal Mehta , known to be a champion of freedom of expression , had taken his previous film Aligarh to the Tribunal when the CBFC had ordered one cut in a courtroom scene which to them had amounted to contempt of court.
Will he take all the verbal smothering that certainly takes the edge and the shine away from Kangana’s Simran-talk?
