Who actually fired the guns at the location for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati in Jaipur(thereby giving the concept of ‘film shooting’ an entirely new definition). And did Ranveer Singh actually give any statement at any given time suggesting that there was a dream sequence bringing Allauddin Khilji and Rani Padmavati together in a dream sequence?

While the Karni Sena, the outfit that attacked the Padmavati shoot on Friday, claims it was the film unit’s security personnel who fired in the air, sources closes to Padmavati claim their security personnel carried no firearms, that in fact  the mob that attacked the shooting fired guns in the air when they descended at the fort in Jaipur where Sanjay Leela Bhansaliand his crew were shooting for Padmavati.

Recalling with horror and shock the two-hour ordeal when the entire unit was held under siege an eyewitness says, “The mob had come prepared for any eventuality. They were armed with guns and they fired in the air . Any stray bullet could’ve hit any one. The fact that none of us was hurt is purely a happy circumstance.”

Thoroughly shaken but determined to go ahead with his shooting Sanjay Bhansali is not sure about his next move at the moment.

Informs a  source, “At the moment his plans are all fluid. The Jaipur administration assured him all protection, but he was worried about the protection  of his crew.So for now the shooting is cancelled.”

Regarding the incident that sparked off the outrage, the Karni Sena claims it was RanveerSingh had made a statement regarding the ostensible dream sequence featuring theRajasthani queen and the Islamic invader.

However there is no evidence to support this claim.
