A Man on the Inside Season 2 Cast Adds Oscar Winner to Ted Danson Show

Netflix has enlisted an Oscar-winning actress to join the A Man on the Inside Season 2 cast for the next installment of its newest comedy show led by Golden Globe winner Ted Danson. Since making its debut last November 2024, the series has received a Certified Fresh rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Who is joining the A Man on the Inside Season 2 cast?

Danson will officially be joined by acclaimed actress and wife Mary Steenburgen (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) in the upcoming A Man on the Inside Season 2. Steenburgen has signed on to play the leading character of Mona Margadoff, who is described as “a former musician who factors heavily in the case Charles is trying to solve.” This marks the long-time couple’s latest collaboration, after Steenburgen previous guest-starred in Danson’s previous shows such as The Good Place and Mr. Mayor.

A Man on the Inside also stars Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Stephanie Beatriz, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Sally Struthers, Margaret Avery, John Getz, Susan Ruttan, Lori Tan Chinn, Clyde Kusatsu, Marc Evan Jackson, Jama Williamson, Wyatt Yang, Deuce Basco, Lincoln Lambert, Kerry O’Malley. It is executive produced by Schur, Morgan Sackett, David Miner, Maite Alberdi, Marcela Santibañez, Julie Goldman, and Christopher Clements.
