This new edition will be showcased at Cosm’s massive 87-foot LED dome venues, which use advanced projection and sound technology to create a wraparound, hyper-immersive viewing environment. With locations currently open in Los Angeles and Dallas—and new venues coming to Detroit and Atlanta—fans will be able to experience Hogwarts like never before. The project is produced in collaboration with Little Cinema and MakeMake Entertainment.
Directed by Chris Columbus, Sorcerer’s Stone remains beloved for its whimsical tone and its faithful introduction to J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world. While HBO’s upcoming remake is expected to offer a deeper, more expansive take on the books—with one season dedicated to each installment—the original films still hold a special place for millions of fans.
What to Expect From HBO’s Upcoming Harry Potter Remake
The HBO Harry Potter remake is currently in production, with a new cast stepping into the iconic roles of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The series is slated for a 2027 premiere and promises to explore more detailed storylines thanks to its long-form format.

Despite ongoing controversy surrounding Rowling, the Wizarding World remains a cultural touchstone. With the new Cosm experience arriving ahead of the TV reboot, Warner Bros. seems intent on reminding audiences why the original movie franchise remains so iconic.
Whether the series will eventually surpass the films remains to be seen—but for now, fans can relive the magic in a whole new way as Sorcerer’s Stone prepares to soar back onto screens.
