Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan who is on the jury of Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest along with Anjum Rajabali, Juhi Chaturvedi and Raju Hirani asks existing and aspiring script writers not to miss the opportunity to participate in the second edition of this contest. In a video that he posted, Aamir says that many interesting scripts were received last year and he along with the other jury members look forward to reading more scripts and meeting the shortlisted scriptwriters this year as well.
The first edition of the contest was a huge success with entries received from all over the country. Not only did the 5 winners receive a total of Rs. 50 lakh in cash prizes (the first being Rs. 25 lakh),they’ve also had pitch sessions with multiple production houses and their scripts are being currently being read by them.
The second edition of Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest is underway and the deadline for the contest ends later this month.
Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest’ which has been launched by Cinestaan Digital Pvt. Ltd. is India’s biggest Script Contest to date. Some of the best scripts shall be curated to be part of the Cinestaan Script Bank – a treasure trove that Studios & Production Houses can delve into and then directly liaise with the writers, who often find it difficult to get their voice across.
