Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s Thugs Of Hindostan first schedule is complete!

Vijay Krishna Acharya’s (Viktor) first schedule of Thugs Of Hindostan, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Fatima Sana Shaikh is complete. However Aamir is yet to return to Mumbai after the completion of his schedule. The 25-day schedule which began from June 5 in Malta ended with a wrap party attended by Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Viktor along with other crew members on June 30. Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan were in Malta in mid-June during that schedule and completed their scenes for the first schedule before returning back while Aamir and Fatima remained behind to complete some crucial scenes. Huge ships of the 19th century had been constructed at Malta where both Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan shot some intense, high-octane scenes.
TOH is said to be inspired by Philip Meadows Taylor’s English novel Confessions of a Thug and Aamir sports long, curly hair and nose stud and earrings in the film. Bachchan has a look too which hasn’t been revealed yet.
Aamir’s nephew Imran Khan had earlier visited his uncle has been in Malta along with his wife Avantika.
Producer Aditya Chopra must be heaving a huge sigh of relief at the completion of the first schedule of TOH. The film was to initially start shooting early last year with Hrithik Roshan on board but after he opted out, it took Adi a few months to get Aamir on board.
