Aamir khan and his co-producers Viacom 18 are very sure that their under-production venture Laal Singh Chaddha won’t go to the digital platform.
“There is no way that film will find its way to the OTT platform. Aamir is very sure he wants it to go into cinemas. It’s designed as a big-screen experience,” says a source in the know.
In fact so sure is Aamir of his content’s destiny that he has asked his director Advait Chandan to take his time in completing the project.
“Aamir sees the delay in a release window as a godsent opportunity to work more on the script and polish up the presentation. He is no hurry to complete the project,” says the source.
Lal Singh Chaddha the official Hindi remake of the Tom Hanks classic Forrest Gump,is now scheduled for 14 April. But the date may be shifted further if needed.
Aamir has frequently been compared with Tom Hanks in his physical appearance and choice of roles.
