Aamir Khan’s Next Is A Remake Of A Spanish Film

Aamir Khan is almost ready with his current project  Laal Singh Chaddha. He  is now looking at his next which will be a remake  of  a Spanish film entitled  Campeones. This 2018  Spanish blockbuster featured  Javier Gutiérrez as   a basketball coach who trains a  team of  intellectually  challenged youngsters to victory.

It is  a clichéd story and one wonders what Aamir finds exciting  in  it.

Apparently  Aamir , a  sport enthusiast, feels he hasn’t done a sports film since Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in 1992 and Lagaan  in 2001.

The  Indian adaptation of  Campeones will be directed by  RS Prasanna of   Shubh Mangal Saavdhan  fame.
