Actor-Singer Crashes His Fan’s Wedding

A bride recently had two of her dreams come true on the same day. She married the love of her life and met one of her favorite stars!

When the bride, a woman named Charyn, saw Glenn Yong walk into the ballroom during her wedding, she was, according to Yong himself, “too stunned to speak.” And why wouldn’t she be? Chances are, he was the last person she had been expecting to crash her wedding!

Yong is a Singaporean actor and singer who made his TV acting debut in the 2019 series The Good Fight. In 2022, Yong ranked at #62 on TC Candler‘s “100 Most Handsome Faces,” making him the first Singaporean to make the list’s Top 100. After Charyn’s wedding, the handsome star joked that he might consider adding wedding singer to his list of jobs.

On March 30, a week after Charyn’s March 23 wedding, Yong shared a video from the big day. As soon as he stepped into the ballroom, he began to sing one of his songs, delighting Charyn and her guests. He and Charyn–who Yong often sees at his events–also sang a duet together.

How did this special moment come to be? According to Yong, it was all thanks to Charyn’s best friend. Her friend reached out to his agency, and the rest, as they say, is history.
