Ever since the disastrous teaser trailer of Adipurush made its way into the public domain one has been hearing of ‘damage control’ being done. The film’s release has benn postponed so that the film’s special effects may be re-worked.
That is fact. Now starts fiction. Highly imaginative desktop scoopsters have come up with a brainwave that Saif Ali Khan’s beard would be digitally removed.
It doesn’t end there. It is also suggested that the director Om Raut would, alternatively, re-shoot Saif’s Raavan scenes without a beard. This, in principle, means re-shooting the entire film.
Dismissing these reports as preposterous , a source close to the project says, “We haven’t been told about any changes. As for Saif removing his beard digitally or by re-shooting, no such suggestion has been made. There are numerous instances of Raavan being depicted with a beard on screen. The beard stays.”
