Akshay’s ‘Prthiviraj’ connection seems to continue after the completion of the historical Prithviraj Chauhan. He is now doing a remake of a film starring the Malayalam star-actor Prithviraj.
The latest reports on Akshay’s career plan is to do the Hindi remake of the superhit 2019 Malayalam film Driving License which featured Prithviraj as an arrogant superstar who meets his match in a drivers’ license official, played in the original by the brilliant Suraj Venjaramoodu.
Reports suggest that Suraj’s role will be played by Emraan Hashmi. However sources close to the project reveal that the second lead is yet to be cast.
