Alia Bhatt On Being The Most Successful Heroine Of The Moment

Alia Bhatt is on a roll. In a career of 6 years, she has delivered 9 hits including her latest Raazi which is now hurling towards the 100-crore rupees box-office collection Alia is seen as the only current leading lady who can shoulder a film. Raazi puts her ahead of all the competition including Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Says trade analyst Atul Mohan, “Looking at her career span, the volume of work and success ratio, Alia is definitely at the top slot now. A powerful all-round performer with an ever-expanding fan-base and a great choice of subjects…she is not only the darling of the box office but also of brand endorsements. She is a complete package!”

Adds Amod Mehra, “With every film Alia’s rise as a star has been on an upswing. Now with the super-success of Raazi both critically as well at the box office, she has suddenly turned the tables on the competition and one can easily say she is today the most in-demand heroine edging out Deepika Padukone from the top slot.”

Alia Bhatt says she is all for the idea of being No 1. “Of course I like the idea of being no.1. Who wouldn’t? But I feel I’ve a long way to go. So much more to achieve.”

Alia confesses she loves the hits to keep coming. “I cannot bear the thought of my films flopping. Of course, it’ll happen. So far it’s been all good except for one film that didn’t do well (Shaandaar) and I was shattered by that.”
