Singer-musician game-changing entertainer Alisha Chinai who took on Anu Malik for his alleged harassment in 1990s, says she is happy to see him go from Indian Idol.
But she feels the other judges on the show must also go. “About time Anu got outed as a judge from Indian Idol. His co-judges Vishal Dadlani and Farah Khan also add to the sleaze. The show has gone downhill. It needs to redeem itself.”
Alisha feels the need to see a cleansing process take over the entire entertainment industry.
She recalls, “When I stood up and sued Anu Malik I was isolated. I braved it all alone. When I fought for my music royalties I was boycotted by the music industry and labelled a difficult temperamental person. Today Bollywood music has crashed due to bad work ethics and misplaced egos.”
