And It’s A Rap For Ajay Devgan

Ajay Devgan has  turned  rapper  in  the company   of social-media star Yash Raj Mukhate in a  video that has gone  viral.

In the  video Devgan is seen  arguing with  Mukhate on how to go about creating a promotional song.Initially he is seen refusing to  join Mukhate. But eventually Ajay Devgan gives in.

The actor’s fans think this is  the first time  Ajay Devgan has sung for a film. They are wrong.  The actor-director  has earlier crooned two lines in  Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum…Dil De Chuke Sanam .

It is  the sequence where Ajay Devgan goes to his future father-in-law’s Vikram  Gokhale house  to ask for his  daughter’s hand. Gokhale plays a musician  and therefore wants to know if his  future son-in-law can sing.

Ajay awkwardly  mumble-croons  two lines of Kishore Kumar’s Chingari  Koi Bhadke  from Amar Prem.

The  collaboration with Yash Raj Mukhate for a promotional song of  Runway 34 is just what gives the  film a headstart at  the  boxffice.

Sources close to Ajay Devgan  reveals he was most reluctant to  join chords with Mukhate as  he, Devgan feels  he can’t sing to save his life.  But  no one can really say no to  Mukhate. His infectious enthusiasm  soon got the better of Devgan; and the rest is  unrehearsed  fun.
