Anu Malik Remains Banned At YashRaj

While Indian  Idol has apparently lifted the ban on Anu Malik  post the MeToo allegations, Yash Raj studios,  Mumbai’s  most  prestigious entertainment  studio, remains  out of bounds for the  tainted  composer.

A  source  from the Yash Raj team  informs, “Anu Malik  is not allowed  to  enter the gate of Yash Raj studio. It is their policy to  deal firmly with all sexual harassment allegations. Last year they sacked  their senior executive AshishPatel after he  was  accused of misconduct.  There is a non-negotiable policy at Yash raj regarding  such offences.”

Besides Anu Malik,  Alok Nath and  Sajid Khan , prime Bollywood accused in  the MeToo  movement, are also banned from entering  Yash Raj. Sajid’s sister Farah  Khan shoots regularly at Yash Raj.

Last year  thanks to  NRI actress Tanushree Dutta  the MeToo movement erupted  in  Bollywood claiming several casualties.  Chief among them  were composer Anu Malik, director Sajid Khan and  actor  Alok Nath.

Latest  reports suggest that the  ban on  Malik  has been  lifted  from the  music reality  show Indian Idol , causing a wave of dismay among supporters  of  the MeToo movement.
