So Anushka Is Mrs Virat Kohli Now, What Next For Her?

Thus drops the shimmying curtain on four days of Italian intrigue in Tuscany and Milan that would have put Don Corelone and his family in neighbouring Sicily to shame.
Will they,won’t they? Went the Indian media. Some of them even flew down to Tuscany at their organizations’ expense parking themselves outside the venue of the marriage.
Why couldn’t we respect Anushka’s and Virat’s request for a private wedding and leave them alone?
Close friends like Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor did. They left the couple alone in spite of being enormously close to Anushka. Sources say Anushka had confided in some close friends in the film industry about her wedding. These include Aditya Chopra , Rani Mukherjee, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan. These friends of the actress understood her need for privacy.They steered clear .
But the paparazzi didn’t.
Now that the wedding is done, what next for Anushka? Well, she returns to resume her film with Shah Rukh Khan being directed by Aanand L Rai. How does Anushka intend to take her career ahead after marriage? Her last three films, Anushka’s home production PhillauriKaran Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Imtiaz Ali’s Jab Harry Met Sejal have under-performed at the boxoffice, the latter drastically so.
Though they once almost parted permanently due to a dispute over Anushka’s career, it is doubtful that this—her career—would now be a bone of contention in Virat Kohli and Anushka’s togetherness. It is very clear that she will cut down on her assignments in future. The fact that she has not signed any new film is proof of her future plans.
Anushka has her home production Pari up for release in February. After which there isAnand L Rai’s untitled film with Shah Rukh.That’s it for now.
Always selective and careful with her projects Anushka is now looking at probably doing one film a year. Marriage is known to halt many a Bollywood actresses’ career. It remains to be seen how much of an effect being Mrs Virat Kohli has on her career. For every KareenaKapoor Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who have slowed down their film appearances after marriage and motherhood, there is Sharmila Tagore and Kajol with a thriving career after marriage.
So let’s not play party crashers at the Anushka–Viarat shaadi by reminding her of which way her career can go.Right now it’s time for Band Baaja Baraat.And from what I hear, Ranveer Singh is dancing the Bhangra in anticipation of a long happily married life for his buddy.
