Tian Wen will give you the “Industrial Espionage” quest in ARC Raiders, wherein she needs your help gathering information on rival weapon suppliers Topside. “Industrial Espionage” comes after the “Market Correction” quest, and has similarly vague instructions for the cache you need to find. Below is a full walkthrough of where to find the weapon cache and how to complete “Industrial Espionage.”
Tian Wen will send you to Buried City, the game’s most dense map, for “Industrial Espionage,” so keep an eye out for other ARC Raiders players. When you accept the quest, she will give you a Burletta pistol; you must bring a Burletta with you to complete the quest. It doesn’t have to be the exact one Tian Wen gave you, so if you sold, recycled, or lost it, you will have to purchase or find another one.
Weapon Cache Location
Near Buried City Gas Station
Your first objective in “Industrial Espionage” is to “Find Tian Wen’s weapon cache near the Gas Station in the Outskirts” of the Buried City. The Outskirts is a large area comprising the north side of the map, and the Gas Station in question is labeled when you zoom in. The Gas Station is Buried City’s northernmost POI, north of the Hospital and east of the Su Durante Warehouses.
The map screenshot above has a blue ping on the exact location of the weapon cache; it’s just southwest of the Gas Station’s map label. It looks almost exactly like the many other metal boxes that you can breach and search in ARC Raiders (see the screenshot below).
How To Deliver The Burletta & Plant The Bug
Interact With The Weapon Cache Two Times
Once you’ve located the weapon cache, the rest of “Industrial Espionage” is very straightforward. All you have to do is interact with the cache while a Burletta is in your inventory, then interact with it again to plant the bug. Doing so will complete the final two objectives, and all that will be left to do is return to Speranza and claim your rewards from Tian Wen.
The most significant reward from “Industrial Espionage” is a Burletta blueprint, which lets you craft the pistol at your gunsmith workshop station. Crafting the Burletta requires upgrading your gunsmith. Don’t forget to use the blueprint in your inventory as well; it will be in the miscellaneous tab, and will take up a stash slot until you learn and consume it.
“Industrial Espionage” does not require a successful extraction, because there are no items you must return to Tian Wen. Once you’ve planted the bug in the cache, you can claim your reward even if you’re knocked out. The Burletta is an uncommon (green) pistol that uses light ammo, and is a solid weapon to have in ARC Raiders, so completing “Industrial Espionage” can be a major boon to your loadout capabilities.
