Another “special friendship” in Bollywood has bitten the dust. Arjun Kapoor and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty who worked together in this year’s comedy hit Mubarakan have parted ways.
Sources say the duo has decided to concentrate on their individual careers rather than focus on a relationship.
“Both of them decided against taking their friendship to the next level as they need to build on their respective careers.Athiya is just two films old and her debut in Hero was a disaster. Arjun is yet to consolidate his position in spite of some success,” says the source in the know.
The two, however continue to be friends.
So will Arjun now admit to the breakup?
“Where is the need to admit to the breakup when he never admitted to a special friendship with Athiya in the first place? Arjun always maintained she was his sister’s friend.So it shall remain,” says the source.
