They Just Doesn’t Want To Come On Your Show. That Doesn’t Make Them Hypocrites.

Shabana Azmi: “Trolls have no real power because they revel in anonymity  to try and intimidate people.Trolls should not shape your decisions or else you play right into their hands.”

Javed Akhtar: “These days there seems to be stiff competition among fundamentalists of  all hues in trying to outdo each other in expressing regressive views.”

Naseeruddin Shah:  “This little girl’s swimsuit….Sania Mirza’s skirt on the tennis field….same thing. Just the kind of burning issues we should get riled up about!”

Raveena  Tandon: “It’s sad how politicised everything is becoming, instead of progressive attitudes everyone is becoming even more narrow minded .priyankas was trolled , Deepika was trolled,I was trolled for commenting and protesting on how these days everyone is labelled something even with their choice of wear.”

Tannisha Chatterjee: “Religion is a personal choice. Let us give people that personal space. Trolls anyway are a sign of immaturity.”

Tapsee Pannu: “These kind of topics aren’t even worth commenting because they are too lame for any attention.”

Dia Mirza: These things are done by petty and small minded individuals who don’t have better things to do with their lives. I find it laughable that people have a separate set of values for the month of Ramzan and another set for the rest of the year. Also, by their own disturbing logic those people ‘looking’ at her image during Ramzanshouldn’t be either!”

Adil Hussain: “If anybody had any problem with someone wearing something they should simply not look at it! Period. We are free to wear anything in this country as long as it not illegal.”

Shaina NC(spokesperson BJP):  “Personally I may not approve of what another person wears, I may be too conservative to wear it myself. But that doesn’t give me the right to abuse and heckle the other person  for wearing what she is wearing. Calling the girl besharam and all that is just not uncalled-for it is excusable. While the trolls are best left ignored the clerics with their radical views on what they consider to be a proper dress code were deeply offensive and disturbing. What I want  to know is, where are all the members of the film fraternity who are generally so vocal on so many issues. Why are they quiet when one of their own is being abused for nothing?”

Sandhya Mridul: “It’s plain simple bullying. And we do not need to take it. What we wear when we wear is our choice. As far as trolling is concerned, engaging trolls is a huge waste of time. They don’t get to decide who I am.I do.”
