Ayan Mukerjee’s Super-Hero Project With Ranbir Shelved

Nothing seems to be going right in Ranbir Kapoor’s life and career at the moment. While his relationship status is at the moment uncertain, his career too is in search of  a silver lining, what with his last 4 films under-performing at the boxoffice and his proposed next film Jagga Jasoos shrouded in uncertainty.

One now hears that Ranbir’s ambitious super-hero film directed by his best friend Ayan Mukerjee has been shelved.

According to a reliable source, “Producer Karan Johar no longer finds an Indian super-hero film financially feasible since there are so many of them being done in Hollywood,and with so much more resources at their disposal. Besides, Karan’s friend choreographer Remod’Souza is also directing a super-hero film with Tiger Shroff. So it’s a no for Ayan’s super-hero film.”

Ayan who is very close to Ranbir has so far delivered two successful films Wake Up,Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani with Ranbir  in the lead for Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
