Balki Rubbishes Rumours Of Casting Big B & Akshay

“Outrageous, completely fabricated!”

This is  filmmaker R Balki’s reaction to “news” that went viral yesterday . According to reports that actually started in a Mumbai tabloid Balki has cast his favourite actor Amitabh Bachchan alongside Akshay Kumar.

The knowledgeable report  has gone viral and Balki is fuming.

“I’ve been busy  with my wife Gauri Shinde’s film Dear Zindagi. Taking advantage of my unavailability a section of the media has gone berserk. I had no clue that this is been going on behind my back. When I started getting messages and calls asking about my film with Amitji and Akshay,I was like…thanks for telling me about it,” sniggers Balki.

For the record he has not zeroed in on any project as his next directorial venture. “After Dear Zindagi I will start thinking about what I will do next. At the moment all I know is it will be a movie with living actors. Not an animation film. And it won’t be about demonetization. Nor will it be about a filmmaker’s husband nearly dying of nervousness as he waits for the release of his wife’s film.”
