BHARAT! This is Salman Khan’s next film after Tiger Zinda Hai!

It’s now final. It’s been a matter of curiosity which film Salman Khan will now start shooting for after he completes Tiger Zinda Hai. He will now play Bharat in a film of the same title. It’s directed by his TZH director Ali Abbas Zafar (their third film together) and will be produced by his bother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and sister Alvira.

Says a source, “While Salman has loved the appreciation Tubelight has got, now he’s very clear that he will stick to commercial potboilers. Ali Abbas Zafar has given him one of his biggest hits Sultan and he was the best to direct a patriotic film of universal appeal like Bharat.”

There has been speculation that Salman’s next will be Remo D Souza’s dance musical or Prabhu Dheva’s next Lefty but neither is happening right now. “It’s rumoured that Remo’s film has a similar story line as Tubelight and is about an emotional relationship between father and son so that script has been scrapped as of now and a fresh one is being looked for. Salman now wants to stick to the masala entertainers like Kick, Dabanng and Sultan that he is known for and the audiences relate too. Bharat may release on Republic Day (January 26) or Independence Day (August 15) as the core and theme revolves around patriotism and goes with the title and Dabangg 3 is expected to release on Eid next year.”

He will begin shooting for Bharat once Tiger Zinda Hai is complete (almost 50 per cent of the film is over). TZH will release on Christmas this year.[tooltip type=”box” html=”Input Your Content Here” box_background_color=”#eeeeee” box_opacity=”0.95″ box_padding=”10″ box_border_color=”#3F3F3F” box_border_width=”1″ box_border_radius=”0″ id=”88b6af99531f838ed90aed058b7d870a” /][tooltip type=”box” html=”Salman Khan Bollywood Actor” box_background_color=”#eeeeee” box_opacity=”0.95″ box_padding=”10″ box_border_color=”#3F3F3F” box_border_width=”1″ box_border_radius=”0″ id=”c1b465420d07c688942ed18eadfd9f92″ /]
