But in the recent episode, the charade was finally undone, and the show revealed that Grace was lying about the cancer diagnosis. Cassandra Creech explains why Grace lied about Liam’s cancer on The Bold and the Beautiful
In a recent interview with Soaps, Cassandra Creech, who plays Grace on Bold and Beautiful, explained why Grace conned Liam for a million dollars. Though her reasons do not seem good enough, there are at least reasons for this huge con.
In the August 4 episode of Bold and Beautiful, Grace screamed over the phone at someone, asking them to leave her daughters alone. She then spoke to Paris and reminded her that she would do anything for her.
“I’m an opportunist in this situation. I’m fighting to save my girls,” Creech told Soaps about her character’s arc. She added, “And I am using what I know — medicine. It’s not the best choice.”
Speaking about how Grace reached this point, where she had to resort to this method of earning money, she further added, “Coming to Los Angeles was a new start for Grace,” she continued, “She came to see Paris, who ironically is now living in Paris, and wound up staying. Grace has been very successful, and yet she hasn’t really got anybody in her corner. She has nobody there to support her, no one she was able to turn to as this situation spiraled out of her control. But now she knows that she will do what she has to do,” she continued, “She will do absolutely anything to protect her daughters.”
