Brad Pitt isn’t just speeding onto the big screen in his latest film, “F1.” He’s revving up headlines with a bold new look that has fans doing a double-take.

On June 9, the Oscar-winning heartthrob, 61, turned heads at not one, but two red carpet events in Mexico City. The actor proudly showed off a buzzed haircut and silver scruff combo that screamed “Hollywood’s New Silver Fox.”

Sporting a pink suit paired with a baby blue shirt and white mules, Pitt arrived at the Sofitel Reforma. He showed off his effortless swagger only he can pull off. He posed alongside his “F1” costars, Damson Idris and Kerry Condon, as well as director Joseph Kosinski. As well as longtime producing partner Jeremy Kleiner.

But it wasn’t just the suit doing the talking. Oh no, Pitt’s freshly shaved buzz cut and salt-and-pepper beard were the true stars of the show.

Later that evening, he switched gears…pun fully intended…for a more classic ensemble. The “Fight Club” actor wore a gray tailored suit, crisp white shirt, and pointed-toe boots. The outfit, complete with a neatly folded handkerchief peeking from his blazer pocket, was understated elegance to match his new look.

The dramatic new hairstyle isn’t totally unfamiliar. Fans of early 2000s Pitt might recall a similar buzzed look, especially for his work alongside George Clooney in “Oceans Eleven.” Pitt’s embracing the gray, and fans are loving it.

“Brad Pitt got a buzz cut. Believe me when I say that’s gonna be the haircut you see all the white boys have.” said one fan on X (formerly Twitter). Another chimed in, saying, “Brad Pitt bringing back the buzz cut AS IT WAS WRITTEN.”

The transformation isn’t just for fun, or maybe it is. While it hasn’t been confirmed whether the cut is specifically for his role, “F1” sees Pitt playing Sonny Hayes, a former driver making a high-octane return to the sport via a fictional team, APXGP.

The film, slated to premiere June 27 in IMAX and standard theaters, has already generated early buzz for its practical racing sequences. Many of which were filmed at real F1 events, which makes it extra special. Director Joseph Kosinski, who previously helmed “Top Gun: Maverick,” teamed up with Pitt and Formula 1 itself to craft a film that feels “authentic and adrenaline-pumping,” per Yahoo! Entertainment.

What’s Next for the Silver Fox of the Silver Screen?

When he’s not dodging tire smoke on the track or charming entire press lines, Pitt is continuing his work with Plan B Entertainment. It’s the production company behind acclaimed films like “12 Years a Slave” and “Moonlight.” He’s also rumored to be producing an upcoming Netflix limited series and recently wrapped filming on an untitled Quentin Tarantino project.

And of course, the actor is navigating life after finalizing his divorce from Angelina Jolie. But judging from his calm, confident demeanor on the F1 press circuit, he’s keeping things cool, and haircuts even cooler.

Whether this gray buzz cut sticks around for another race or makes a quick pit stop in his long style history, one thing’s for sure: Pitt just made growing older look a little bit better.
